Side Events
Wednesday, December 16 - At 6:00 pm, GM Josh Friedel (USA) will give a free lecture, followed at approximately 7:00 p.m. by a simul given by GM Victor Mikhalevski (rating 2607).
Everyone is welcome to these two events (there will be a limit of 20 players for the simul). The fee to play in the simul is $10 for Adults and $5 for Juniors, with the proceeds going to support the International Tournament. Also, the first player to defeat GM Mikhalevski, or if no one wins, the first player to acheive a draw, will receive a $30 gift certificate.
