This year’s event will take place on Saturday, March 1st at the
Edmonton Chess Club.
Just like last year the ECC will be donating $75 to the prize fund
which will be boosted by 100% of entry fees.
It is expected to be quite many prizes, including class prizes,
in fact the only thing that should match the number of prizes in this
event will be the number of blunders.
Entry fee: $5 per participant (no CFC or any other kind of membership
is required)
Eligibility: Everyone is welcome to play!
Hours: Registration will be from 12:00-12:45, rounds will start at
1:00 pm (Please don’t be late as late registration will not be taken)
Expected end time 4:30-5:00 pm.
Format: Will be determined on-site as it will depend on the number
of participants.

Discounts: Juniors under 18 save $5 on entry fee. Juniors under 14
save $15 on entry fee with “no prize” option.

Round times: Saturday 10 AM, 1:30 PM, 5:30 PM. Sunday 10 AM, 2:30 PM
Time control:
Saturday (3 games): G/90 minutes + 30 seconds/move
Sunday (2 games): G/110 minutes + 30 seconds/move
